The first ever X30 Nordic race took place in Kristianstad, Sweden in October 2016. There were earned the last places to IAME International Final in Le Mans, France. The farthest competitor Taylor Greenfield came all the way from Peru and there were several drivers from mainland Europe. Swedish duo Victor Öberg (X30 Senior) and Alexander Jeppsson (X30 Junior) together with Finn Mikko Laine (X30 Master) were crowned as the Kings of North in X30 in 2016.
This year the event will be held in Finland on 9-10 September 2017 and it's a national event with NEAFP classification, so an international license is not needed! The prizes are great as there will be one completely free IAME X30 engine given away in a lottery between all participants and all the winners of X30 classes (excluding X30 Cadet) will get a place in IAME International Final.
