Cost
It's not a secret that running a racing series or running a business requires money. We believe in high quantities instead of high profit per trade. All the dealers and partners in X30 share the same principle. We want to make a karting series where everyone has a realistic chance to technically fight for victories without a lot of money. We want to make the events so cool and fun that there will be spectators, families enjoying the weekends. Increased visibility in many areas improves your chances to get either individual or team partners and sponsors. We want create a return of investment for them also in karting.
Drivers
Drivers must pay for so many things, we know that for sure. That's why you can now buy a spare engine with a friend and share it in races. That's why you aren't allowed to use more than one tire set during weekend. That's why we want to help you get professional photos, media time and publicity. That's why we want to end the race weekends earlier on Sunday, so you, your mechanic and/or parents can get to work on Monday. We want you to have as many competitors as possible, we want to help you to develop to a diamond.
Teams
Each team tries to invite drivers to their team. Teams need money to run. We don't want to see some drivers paying the expenses of the few in the teams who are really supported. Now with equal engines, everyone can focus more on chassis and driving. There's more time to work with data loggers and analyse data. There you get a big advantage if you have honest friends or team mates. The teams ie. chassis brands can now start to fight with quality of service instead of pile of money and contacts used to get competitive engines. We will launch a team competition in 2016, so stay tuned.
Dealers
There's one importer of IAME X30 for practical reasons but many dealers with equal terms. Therefore all the dealers supporting X30 Challenge, will get the same possibilities with the engines, parts and tires. A monopoly is not a sustainable solution. We want a healthy market and therefore we don't even force anyone to buy the products from Finland. However, if we manage to build such system, everyone benefits from it in the end. We've tried to arrange a situation where our X30 prices are one of the most competitive in the European market.
Price list
Prices include 24 % VAT if it's applicable. The prices are not exact and can change. Please check the latest price from the importer or your dealer. The mandatory costs are entry fee 190 €, slicks tires 199 € and eco fee 15 € to the local club meaning 404 € in total for an X30 race weekend. The same cost for Mini is 354 € and for Micro theoretically with two allowed tire sets in a season 225 €.
